Turquoise talks 

A hushed tone falls over the room as we lay there contemplating what just happened and how we both feel about the serenity that envelops us

There was a moment of tranquility and healing as we fell into one another’s arms and let life fade away and let the protection of one another’s heart be guarded through the night

A balance of emotions grew as night fell and we realized we needed one another to soothe all the past away and let new emotions fill that space that was so empty.

There was some clarity that was rising in both of us and it was going to allowus to talk about the past hurts, the current situations, and how the future was going to play out not just between us but life around us universally

We both knew just what the night meant, what it portrayed, where it was going to take things, and just how ethereal that moment in time was

You’re my vice

I need you more than I need that drink sweating in the glass on the bar just waiting on my lips to take a taste

You’re my vice

Truth, is I don’t truly need you I just want what you can give me, just one night all alone, you and me pushing the past away

You’re my vice

You’re the one that I can rely on to come and stop the pain from all that is going on in my head, you soothe my racing mind, calm me down

You’re my vice

The past keeps playing like a record over and over, you can stop it with just your words telling me everything is alright

You’re my vice

I say I need you but you’re just a taboo place holder I always feel like I need but reality says it’s all a dream

You’re my vice

You hurt me so good while trying to heal me I stare in the mirror wondering why I need you

You’re my vice

I keep saying I won’t call out to you again, but yet here I am 

You’re my vice
