There are some things I wanna forget
I’ve done plenty that needs forgiveness and forgetting.
That night isn’t one of them
There are memories that creep up now and then that I wish I could kill but that night isn’t one of them
I’ve tried to walk a straight path but mine has stayed crooked showing off the mistakes but that night isn’t one of them
I keep dusting and hiding the dirt pretending everything is fine even though it’s not even close but that isn’t one of them that I feel I need to hide
I wish we’d stay close friends through all our faults and not have to bury them that night isn’t one of them
Aren’t we all trying to get it right but sometimes it comes out wrong that isn’t one of them
Don’t we all wish it could be something simple where it is what it and it’s no one’s problem cause that night isn’t one of them
Your lips get me drunk
I know it sounds crazy but your lips get me drunk, just the taste takes me to that higher plain where nothing seems to matter
Your lips get me drunk
They are stronger than hundred proof, they taste like the best liquor right off the top shelf
Your lips get me drunk
I could go to the bar and not find what I need all because what I need is you
Your lips get me drunk
Last night I tasted the finest and I’m still not sober, I’m begging for more
Your lips get me drunk
When you kiss me, I lose all control, can’t say no all cause
Your lips get me drunk
There’s nothing in your kiss that can leave us to have closure
Your lips get me drunk
I’m such a long way from being sober
Your lips get me drunk
I’m hatin this feeling this need, this intoxication that rules me but there’s nothing to be done cause
Your lips get me drunk
