Poems are going to be in no specific order!

Poem 1:

Still on me

The sunrise brings memories of the night

The electric jolt that ignited the flames

Your scent still lingers

I can taste you on my lips

The night brought new meaning to so many words used to describe the situation

Your scent still lingers

I can taste you on my lips

You’d say lines were crossed but that’s not the truth, lines simply were blurred for that moment in time

Your scent still lingers

I can taste you on my lips

Nothing mattered but those few simply hours spent in an embrace like no other

Your scent still lingers

I can taste you on my lips

Sunrise tries to erase the night but

Your scent still lingers I can still taste you on my lips

Poem 2:

Cowgirls Can’t Cry

Cowgirls can’t let a tear drop down their cheek even when they freely give their love away for it to simply to be used in the darkness of night.

Cowgirls can’t cry

They must be the strong

Cowgirls can’t let those tears fall when they lose themselves inside of someone else and realize what a different person they have become

Cowgirls can’t cry

They must be the strong

They can’t cry for the loss of their innocence when they freely gave away their love and expected more

Cowgirls can’t cry

They must be the strong

Cowgirls must hold on and be the strong one to make sure both are okay with the outcome of the night and what it means

Cowgirls can’t cry

They must be the strong

No matter what happens and what it means to everyone around them

Cowgirls can’t cry

They must be the strong
